Rohit Sharma: We know everyone is a match-winner here

By Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians registered their third consecutive victory in the Dream11 IPL 2020 season. The men in Blue and Gold climbed to the top of the points table with a 57-run win over Rajasthan Royals.

Rohit Sharma looked in good touch as he raced his way to 35 runs from 23 deliveries before getting out. A couple of quick wickets put MI under pressure but Suryakumar Yadav made it count with a magnificent effort with the bat.

After posting 193 on board, the fast-bowling trio displayed a scintillating effort in the middle as RR lost three wickets in the powerplay overs. They continued to exert the pressure and bundled Rajasthan for a total of 136 as they failed to last 20 overs.

Rohit: We know everyone is a match-winner here

“We strive to be out there and play well. We've got quality in this squad. They all have a lot of confidence. They're all talented and can take the game away on their day. It's all falling into place. The pitches here are helping our pacers. It was nipping early on. Good to have these specialists with us.”

“A good Surya innings was coming. I spoke to him before the game. Today his shot-making was perfect. We wanted him to bat till the end because he can innovate rather well.”

“We take a lot of pride in our fielding. We've worked really hard for this to happen on the field. We know everyone is a match-winner in here.”

Surya: A big knock was coming in this game

“I just felt a big knock was coming because in the last few games I was finding ways to get out. Loving the added responsibility given to me right now, not too much pressure for me.
I've just been told to play my game and express myself.”

“The lockdown helped me with my off-side game. Most importantly for me, I want the team winning. With three wickets down, I had to bat till the end looking at the situation. The bowlers did a fantastic job and finished well for us.”

Boult: The whole pack is working together

“I think the whole pack is working together. We have a pretty clear game plan. It's a good wicket, but the way we've managed to take wickets has been good. You're always challenged with quality players, intimidating you a bit. Would love to see the ball swinging a bit more at the top. Hasn't been a feature in this tournament. Hopefully, we will get to see it.”
