Nagpur: Krishna Vajani of K John Public School put up a phenomenal bowling performance to star in an emphatic ten-wicket win over Prerna Public School in the Nagpur leg of U-16 Boys of the Mumbai Indians Junior Cricket Tournament at Gurunanak Ground on Friday.

Vajani's impressive seven-wicket haul skittled out Prerna Public School for a paltry 31 in 17 overs. K John chased an easy target in 5.1 overs without losing any wicket. Vajani made unbeaten 13 while his opening partner Swastik Giri remained undefeated on 11.

At the St. Merry's Ground, Shivam Nimbalkar of Narayan Vidyalayam came up with a six-wicket haul to set up a 10-wicket win for his team against Somalwar High School. Nimbalkar's destructive bowling led the downfall of Somalwar batting line-up who managed just 41 in 14.3 overs.

Narayan Vidyalayam chased the target in just three overs, courtesy Ayush Kumar's unbeaten 34.
