Nat Sciver-Brunt smashes England’s fastest ODI century in her 100th ODI
It was her 100th ODI, which in itself is a big deal. But Nat, being Nat, decided to celebrate it by doing what she does best! With regular skipper Heather Knight missing out, she not only took up the captaincy reins, but smashed a century against Sri Lanka in just 66 balls to lead England Women to a massive win. And guess who held the record before this? Our very own Head Coach, Charlotte Edwards!
Three MI players in the India Women squad for the Asian Games
Under the leadership of our legend, Kaptaan Kaur, the Indian Women side have flown out to China for the mega event. Two of our star seam all-rounders in Pooja Vastrakar and Amanjot Kaur have made it to the 15-member squad as well. Saikha Ishaque wins CAB medal
After bagging a truckload of wickets and a winning a million hearts with her bowling in the WPL and then for Bengal in the Senior Women’s T20 Challenger Trophy, Saika Ishaque was honoured with a medal by the Cricket Association of Bengal. Remember, she’s one tiny step away from donning the national colours, and with her in the backups for the Asian Games, we just cannot wait!
