10:30 PM IST - A spectacular all-round performance from Mumbai Indians. Quinton de Kock and Ishan Kishan's unbeaten 116 run-partnership from just 74 balls took them to the finishing line without losing a single wicket. A dominating performance and their second win at Sharjah.

10:25 PM IST - Quinton scores the winning runs in style as he hits a boundary over square-leg region. MI register their second ten-wicket victory in IPL history. They storm back to the top of the points table.

10:18 PM IST - Thakur comes in to bowl his second over. After two singles, Quinton picks the slower one and hits it over long-off for a maximum. A ball later, Gaikwad manages to get hinds to the ball at mid-wicket but couldn't hold on as everything seems to be going Ishan's way. MI need just seven runs to win.

10:15 PM IST - This was turning out to be a good over for Tahir with just three runs off the first five balls. However, Kishan's maximum slammed straight down the ground makes it a nine-run over.

10:11 PM IST - Ishan Kishan continues his onslaught against CSK. A reverse-hit for a maximum to bring up his half-century.

He follows it up with another six over long-on as MI score 15 runs from the Jadeja over.

10:07 PM IST - Tahir continues to bowl his second over. After a dot ball, Kishan picks the full delivery early and slams it over long-on for a maximum. 10 runs from the over as the required rate comes below four runs per over.

10:00 PM IST - The powerplay is over but the boundaries aren't seeming to end. Quinton welcomes Shardul Thakur with a boundary at long-off. Two balls later, he smacks a short ball over long leg for a maximum. The opening partnership between both the wicket-keeper batsmen is now at an unbeaten 64 runs from 42 balls.

9:57 PM IST - Spin has been introduced by CSK as Imran Tahir comes into bowl for the first time in Dream11 IPL 2020. He starts off with five consecutive singles followed by a dot. MI are 52/0 at the end of powerplay.

9:52 PM IST - Ishan launches his assault over Deepak Chahar in the final three balls of the fifth over. After two consecutive boundaries in the form of a square cut and then another one towards off-side, Kishan finishes it off with a maximum over square-leg. 17 runs from the over.

9:47 PM IST - Runs continue to flow for MI. Quinton gets a boundary towards backward point off Deepak Chahar. Ishan also get a couple of boundaries against Hazlewood. First ball is short and wide, Ishan doesn't spare as he cuts it towards backward point. He then gets a top edge which goes over Faf at slip for a boundary. Eight runs from the Hazlewood over.

9:38 PM IST - Ishan Kishan starts his innings with a boundary off Josh Hazlewood. Gets width on the off side and hits it square for a boundary. He then hits another four past cover for his second boundary before taking a single on the final delivery.

9:30 PM IST - Quinton de Kock walks out to bat with his new opening partner Ishan Kishan. Two left-handed wicketkeeper batsmen at the crease. Deepak Chahar to start the proceedings for CSK. Quinton gets off the mark with consecutive boundaries after a dot ball. First one towards third man and second straight down the ground.

9:25 PM IST - It has been yet another bad day for CSK with the bat. Barring Sam Curran's half-century, none of them managed to prolong their stay at the crease. MI on the other hand instilled pressure by picking wickets at a consistent basis to reduce them to 3/4. The men in Blue and Gold require 115 runs in 20 overs to win the match.

9:20 PM IST - Trent Boult: "It's a good wicket. Nice to see a little bit of swing. The job is only half done. We want to go out and create pressure. Polly shows a different personality with the captain's arm-band on."

9:15 PM IST - Boult bowls the final over. After a single on the first delivery, Curran hits a short ball towards backward square-leg for a boundary. A dot ball is followed by consecutive boundaries, first one over point and the second one past fine leg. Curran reaches his fifty before getting bowled on the final ball. Boult finishes with best-bowling figures of 4/18 in IPL.

9:06 PM IST - Coulter-Nile concedes eleven runs in his final over. A boundary on the second ball for Sam Curran who has been playing a lone hand for CSK today. Bumrah to bowl the penultimate over. Imran Tahir manages to produce an upper cut for a boundary. CSK cross 100 runs in the 19th over as Sam Curran bats on 40 not out.

8:59 PM IST - Bumrah comes in to bowl his third over and concedes just a single and a bye. Krunal bowls the 17th over. After five runs in the first five balls, Tahir cuts him for a boundary past the backward point fielder. First boundary for CSK in 45 balls.

8:48 PM IST - Krunal's second over goes for just four runs. NCN comes back into the attack and the first ball is hit in the air towards square-leg. Shardul Thakur breaks his bat as the top edge falls safe in between Krunal and Ishan. However Shardul's phase with the new bat doesn't last long. On the fifth ball, he finds Suryakumar Yadav at backward point as NCN gets his first wicket of the day.

8:36 PM IST - Pollard decides to bowl out Rahul Chahar. The leg-spinner concedes just seven runs in his last couple of overs to finish with 2/22. Another good day for him on the field. Pollard also sneaks an over in-between conceding just four runs.

8:25 PM IST - Shane Bond, Bowling Coach: "Probably the most relaxed I've felt in a T20 game. The boys have done well. Boulty had called for it before the game and he's gone out and done that! My job is to make sure Bumrah's in the right state of mind before every game. We plan for opposition. We restrict them. We know we have got five outstanding bowlers."

8:22 PM IST - Sam Curran continue to bat differently from his side as he hits Coulter-Nile for a maximum over fine-leg on the third ball. Eight runs from the over. Halfway there, CSK are 52/7.

8:16 PM IST - Nathan Coulter-Nile joins the attack and concedes just two runs including a wide. Rahul Chahar continues his second over and Sam Curran smashes him for a six over deep mid-wicket before taking a single on the next delivery. Rahul then manages to bamboozle Deepak who tried to slog him but couldn't connect. Quinton does an easy stumping as Deepak was way ahead of the line.

8:08 PM IST - Some leg spin in the middle as Rahul Chahar comes in. After two dot balls, Dhoni goes ahead and hits him for a six straight daown the ground. However, Chahar has the last laugh as Dhoni edges the next ball to the wicketkeeper.

CSK are six wickets down as Deepak Chahar comes out to face his cousin brother Rahul Chahar. Two dot balls to end the over.

8:04 PM IST - Boult comes back for his third over and manages to pick his third scalp for the day. Ravindra Jadeja finds Krunal Pandya at mid-wicket. Half the CSK side is back in the dressing room as Sam Curran joins Dhoni in the middle.

7:58 PM IST - Spin introduced in the fifth over as MI bring in Krunal Pandya. After a wide and a single, Pandya finishes the over with five consecutive dot balls to Dhoni.

7:53 PM IST - For a change, CSK gets as many as three boundaries from the second Bumrah over. The first one produced a thick outside edge but luckily for MS Dhoni, it went between the wicketkeeper and first slip for a boundary. The second four was hit through the covers while Ravindra Jadeja flicked one off the pads on the fifth ball of the over.

7:45 PM IST - Boult continues from the other end and both the bowlers aren't allowing CSK to breathe easy. Now it's Faf who edges one to Quinton as CSK have lost four wickets inside three overs. Boult concedes the first run off his bowling as Jadeja takes a double on the final ball of his second over.

7:41 PM IST - Jasprit Bumrah comes into bowl the second over. CSK start their account with a single from the bat of Faf du Plessis. New batsman Ambati Rayudu takes a couple of runs before a short ball does the trick as he tries to pull but finds the top edge to the wicketkeeper. Bumrah then has Jagadeesan edging on the first ball to Suryakumar Yadav at first slip. Two-in-two for him as CSK are reduced to 3/3 after two overs.

7:35 PM IST - Trent Boult dons the new ball for MI. He starts off with four consecutive dot balls against Ruturaj Gaikwad who replaces Shane Watson in the CSK playing XI. Boult has struck early again as he traps Ruturaj LBW in front of the stumps on the fifth ball. The umpire adjudged it not out but Pollard took the review after the bowler seemed convinced. A wicket-maiden to start the match.

7:25 PM IST - The last time Pollard captained Mumbai Indians, he scored 83 (31) against KXIP back in 2019. Will we see something special from him today?

7:20 PM IST - MI has defeated CSK 18 times in the 31 encounters between both sides.
