April 18, 2024: Punjab Kings vs Mumbai Indians

"Unbelievable, playing the way he did and hitting the ball off the middle. Great for his future." - Hardik had some words of appreciation for PBKS' Ashutosh Sharma.

"Everyone's nerves got tested. We did speak about before the game that the character will be checked in this game. Naturally, you think you're ahead in the game. But we know IPL has a tendency to produce these games where oppositions can come back and how!" - HP on how the game went to the wire.

"We did speak in the timeout about it is not about how we look, we will keep fighting. Make sure we don't ball the soft balls. The batsmen played good shots, but we were soft in certain overs. Nevertheless, a win is a win" - Captain Hardik on the discussion before the death overs of the defending the 192-run score.

"We don't judge (our performances); a couple of times, we had the game in our grasp and didn't finish the game. The IPL tests you. When the game is not over, it is not over. We take it game by game, go out there and give our 100 per cent. Every individual commits to the team's goal, the results will be seen." - Captain HP at the toss for PBKSvMI.

April 14, 2024: Mumbai Indians vs Chennai Super Kings

"The target was definitely gettable, but they bowled pretty well. Pathirana was the difference. It was about batting well and keeping the intent. We were going quite well (in the run chase) until Pathirana came into the attack and took those two wickets. It was about what was best at that time; we could have done something different. We are on the road for the next four games. We need to play good cricket and keep the intensity high." - Hardik's thoughts after the game.

"Need to stick to the basics. Winning is very important to get the momentum. We were able to win two games convincingly. That's the beauty about IPL, everyone has to contribute. Your team will be able to achieve goals eventually." - Captain HP at the toss for MIvCSK.

April 11, 2024: Mumbai Indians vs Royal Challengers Bengaluru

"I did tell him, welcome back, when he scored the fifty. I have been opposition captain to him as well. it's tough to put field for him." - On SKY's ethereal innings and his impact with the bat.

"l am lucky to have Bumrah in my side. He does this over and over again and every time I ask him, he gets the wickets. He has so much experience and the confidence." - Hardik on Bumrah being the talisman for MI.

"The way Rohit and Ishan batted, it was important for us to finish the game early. People know what the situation is. When we saw the target get lesser, we thought to get the run rate higher." - HP on how crucial the opening partnership was to the run chase.

"Mood before and after the win has been the same. We play every game with a fresh start. We want to put early pressure with the new ball. I heard it (234) was the highest score without anyone scoring fifty. It gives confidence to us that even one guy batting long we can score that big." - Captain HP at the coin toss.

April 7, 2024: Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Capitals

"That was some hitting from Romario, he won us the game. The difference was his innings. I like him. Always has a smile on his face, doesn't run away. Very proud of the way he played." - The MI skip praised our gamechanger of the day.

"It was a lot of hard work. We had to clear our minds and make sure that we believed. There's a lot of love and care going around in the changeroom. Belief and backing each other is the attitude out there. Everyone believed we need just one win." - Captain HP on the team synergy.

"Almost 18,000 young people are supporting us today, we're here to represent them and want them to go back home with a smile." - HP on the special guests today at the Wankhede.

"Not getting a win has put pressure on us. One win will bring in more confidence." - Captain Hardik underlines today's agenda for MIvDC.

April 1, 2024: Mumbai Indians vs Rajasthan Royals

"It's all about doing the right things. Correct results happen at times; at other times, it doesn't. As a group, we can do a lot better, but we need to be more disciplined and show a lot more courage." - HP on the plan going forward.

"Slow starts don't bother us. We hope to have clarity and keep the mood happy and light. Aiming to play the brand of cricket that everyone enjoys." - Captain Pandya at his first toss as an MI skipper at the Wankhede.

April 27, 2024: Sunrisers Hyderabad vs Mumbai Indians

"Toughest soldiers get the toughest test, and we are the toughest team in the competition. Something I am really proud of is our bowlers, even when the day was tough, I didn’t see no one running away, everyone wanted the ball and I think that's a good sign." - Captain Pandya being Leader Pandya, with a rousing speech at the end of the game in the dressing room

“Coming into your first game and getting overwhelmed by this kind of crowd, he showed he had the heart. Even though he went for runs, he looked alright, he wanted to back his skillsets and that's something that's fantastic. He has the skillset, just that he needs some game time." - Captain Hardik had words of support for debutant Kwena Maphaka.

“Everyone batted really well, counting Tilak, Ro, Ishan. There are just few things we need to do right and we'll be alright.” - Hardik was pleased with the team’s effort in the run chase.

"13 games to go, we need to keep doing the right things. We are positive and looking forward to the challenge. Just trying to spend time with all the players." - Hardik at the SRH v MI toss.

April 24, 2024: Gujarat Titans vs Mumbai Indians

"Obviously, we backed ourselves to chase those 42 runs [in the last five overs], but it was one of those days where we scored relatively less and lost momentum." - Hardik's assessment at the end of a tough loss.

"Feels good to be back to where it all started. Obviously my birthplace is Gujarat, but my cricketing growth has been in Mumbai." - Captain Hardik on returning to the Narendra Modi Stadium.
