MI Junior 2024: St. Columba School and Shardashram Vidyamandir to meet in Girls’ U15 final

St. Columba School (Gamdevi) decimated St. Mary's High School (Mulund) for an emphatic 9-wicket win to advance to the MI Junior Girls’ Under-15 final in Mumbai on Wednesday.

In the first Girls’ Under-15 semi-final in Mumbai, St. Mary's were bowled out for a paltry 22 runs, with Aarya Wajge (5-5) weaving her magic for St. Columba. The miniscule target was easily chased down by St. Columba in just 2 overs.

Shardashram Vidyamandir (Dadar) sealed a comfortable 5-wicket victory over Vasant Vihar High School in the other semi-final.

Opting to bat first, Vasant Vihar were bowled out for 79 runs, thanks to a stellar performance with the ball by Swara Jadhav (3 for 14). In response, Shardashram sailed to victory in 12.2 overs, with opener Mugdha Parte (39* off 35) seeing them through.
